What is a Virtual Appliance?

Virtual Appliances are designed to be black boxes that are placed in your environment and operate without affecting your other business solutions. You just install them and use. Simple to operate. The command set and GUI components provide a simple base set of functions that your systems administrators can understand and start using immediately. Powerful. VAPs also contain more advanced functionality your system administrators can use to provide more robust control for your business-computing environment. Reliable. Once you install and configure VAPs they take care of themselves, functioning efficiently to help your systems administrators control your enterprise-computing environment. Flexible.
